A charming little paradise to disconnect. Cortijo Catifalarga features rooms and living spaces with separate kitchens, allowing for safe enjoyment whether with your partner or children. The house boasts an outdoor pool, various relaxing and leisure areas, as well as a marvelous environment, enabling walks from the house to magical corners of the area.

Cortijo Catifalarga Alpujarra is located 1 km outside of Capiliera, in the Alpujarra region and at the doorstep of the Sierra Nevada National Park. It offers views of the Poqueira Canyon and the mountains of the Sierra de Lújar. Housed in a restored country house with an outdoor pool.

The rooms and flats of this charming country house in Capileira are designed with rustic terracotta floors, chestnut beams and stone walls, blending traditional Alpujarran style with a modern touch. Thanks to this mix, the rooms are elegant and cosy.
Its 6 units – between double, triple or quadruple rooms and 1 and 2 bedroom flats – total 16 beds, making the place ideal for couples, small groups of friends, families and even single travellers. Additionally, some rooms are equipped with trundle beds in the living room to allow for more capacity.

It is an oasis of tranquility in its location, the access is a bit off-road, but it is only a small but. The rooms are not quiet at all, you hear everything from everyone, it is the only negative thing to highlight because the breakfast is made with lots of love and local produce and the atmosphere of the pool is super relaxing and the environment is dreamy. The rooms, in particular mine, everything is fine but you don't go there to stay in the room.

It is a spectacular place. The surroundings are beautiful and everything is very well looked after. I liked the room very much, it had a very nice patio with views of the ravine and the sea. The breakfast is great. The road has some potholes but you can access with any car and there is no danger, plus it's only 4 minutes. I really liked the location, on the outskirts but very close to Capileira. The owners are great and it is an incredible place to spend a few days. Camilo had a great time 🐶 😜 ❤️

Unforgettable. We spent a weekend as a couple in the cortijo catifalarga in the luna room. The room is very nice and the views from the private terrace are spectacular. In general the environment is beautiful in the middle of nature and everything perfectly cared for by the owners. Quique and Ana are charming, always attentive to every detail. The location and surroundings are ideal to disconnect and enjoy the mountains, the villages of the Alpujarra or just to relax. It would have been nice if there was a small fridge in the flat (at least in Sueño there isn't), as the restaurant is not always open. The stay was great. The treatment received was correct and welcoming. The breakfasts were plentiful, delicious and largely made with local produce.

Spectacular place to disconnect from the routine, the owners are very friendly, they have everything very well maintained and the decoration of the rooms gives it a very cozy romantic air. The views are incredible and the breakfast has nothing to envy to the one that any Marquis would have. Very good quality homemade products. We will repeat for sure!

CATIFALARGA PET POLICY

You can enjoy your vacations in La Alpujarra together with your best furry friend, since Cortijo Catifalarga admits dogs and cats.

The accommodation of your pet is subject to a supplement of 30 € (20 € cats and dogs up to 5 kg) per pet per stay (regardless of the number of nights).

Here are the conditions to stay with your pet.

  • The owner of the pet is fully responsible for any damage that may be caused. Any damage caused will be the responsibility of the pet owner.
  • Pets may not be left alone in the rooms and apartments at any time. The use of the leash is mandatory when passing through the common areas.
  • The owner is responsible for picking up after their pet at all times.
  • The use of bedding, pillows, towels, etc. for the use of the pet is prohibited.
  • The owner should bring the pet’s usual resting space and food and drink bowls.
  • Vaccination records may be required as well as that the pet is in optimal hygienic conditions..
  • The client is responsible for the noise that pets may make and will ensure that pets do not disrupt or affect the tranquility of other guests. Catifalarga reserves the right to terminate the accommodation contract if the pet disturbs other guests, without any right to claim or compensation from the client and immediately.
